Since leaving Twin City Nazarene, I worked at CGH Medical Center as switchboard operator from 1987 to 1998. My husband died in 1998 with a heart attack. In December, 2000, I married Jim Parks. Since then, we spend the winters in Florida and our summers along the Rock river across from Sauk Valley College. We have a trailer here along the river and enjoy the birds and wildlife. It feels like we have 'the best of both worlds.' Since I seem to have to be busy with something, I work at thrift stores both in Zephyrhills, FL in the winter, and in Rock Falls during the summer. You meet such interesting people!

MEMORIES OF TCN:
It was a busy time at the school, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I remember sharing the desk in the office with Wendy Parsons when I first took the job. Thank goodness, that didn't last forever!! Wendy was a neat guy to work with. I remember his 50th birthday and presenting him with a large pizza-size chocolate chip cookie with icing that said, "IT'S NIFTY TO BE 50" on it. The teachers were a good group to work with, and a lot of fun, too. A lot of happy memories.............
