YEARS AT TCN: 1983 - 1995

SINCE TCN:
Mark and I were married during my second year of teaching.  In June of 1985 we moved to Phoenix AZ.  We lived there until 1988.  Mandi, our oldest, was born in 1986.  I was expecting our second child, Steven, when we moved back to Sterling.  Steven was born in 1989 and since then we have had four other children, David (1992), Elisabeth (1994), Mary (1997, and Sarah (2000).  God has blessed us with these six children. While in AZ I worked at several different temporary jobs. None of the jobs were in teaching. Mark also had several different jobs. We returned to the Sterling area due to our family starting. Just really no good reason to raise them so far from grandparents and aunts/uncles. In our journey, we also attended several different church bodies. We are currently members at Zion Christian Fellowship in Wellman IA. We moved to Wellman in September of 2005. We had been commuting to church and when God opened the door for us to move and we walked through that door. Since our move Mark sold our business, EBE Industrial Mnfg, and we now have an excavating/trucking company, TERRA Enterprises. We bought a dump truck business and are expanding on that. Steven is enjoying this line of work and Mark enjoy being able to work with his sons.

MEMORIES OF TCN:
I have many fond memories of the students that passed through my classroom. It was enjoyable to become reacquainted with one of them recently as an adult. It is hard to imagine that my students all kept growing and maturing. I hope that God was able to use my feeble efforts in some small way to point my students towards God. I was a very young teacher and appreciate the older teachers that were working at that time.
