MEMORIES OF TCN:
I loved the small class sizes. It allowed you
to get to know each other very well. I loved being with the students
as well as the parents.
I remember one time
Mike and I were sitting at our kitchen table. There was
a knock at the front door. When we opened the door,
there was a Sterling police officer standing with Jason
Sharp and Matt Vest. They had been TPing our front yard
when a watchful neighbor called the police. The police
officer asked what we wanted to do with them. Mike said
to take out your gun and shoot em!!!! The office then
asked if I wanted them to clean up their mess. I said
no. He asked if I was sure. I said yes I’m sure because
I will get even! So the next day I went out and cleaned
up our yard. I collected all the toilet paper and put it
in trash bags. On Monday, I went into our classroom and
proceeded to dump all the “garbage” onto both of their
desks. When all the students walked into class, they
were wondering why Jason and Matt’s desk had toilet
paper. I then had to tell them how Jason and Matt were
almost shot that weekend!!
