COLLEGE & YEAR GRADUATED:
After graduating from Sterling Christian in 1995, I went to Sauk Valley Community College and received my Associate's Degree in Communications.  I then transferred to Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois. 

SINCE TCN:
Upon graduation from Trinity in May of 2000, I went to work for WSDR/WSSQ/WZZT here in Sterling.  While there I was an on-air personality for about a year and a half before I decided radio was not my thing.  I then went to work for the AmeriCorps program, which is the domestic branch of the Peace Corps.  I was a reading tutor for grade school children for two years with AmeriCorps.  I am presently teaching junior high/high school social studies and speech at Sterling Christian School in Galt, Illinois.

MEMORIES OF SCS:
 I would say going back to Sterling Christian and being on the other side of the desk is something that brings back all kinds of memories.  It is odd to teach the classes that I was in at one time, in the rooms in which I took those classes.  Every day is like a "Welcome Back, Kotter" moment.   

MEMORIES OF TCN:
I have lots of good memories from both Twin City Nazarene and Sterling Christian.  I would say one that sticks out is when Haun Porter and Chris Dean strung Nicky Straw up with a jump rope by his belt loops to the basketball hoop in the Hatton Center.  His belt loop broke and Nicky came crashing down.  Going to Cubs games for field trips was also fun.
